...i BURNED myself
...i was baking my funfetti/confetti cake && had left it in too long. Rushing to get it out of the oven...."i BURNED myself". Now, I have yet ANOTHER brown mark on my skin, this time it's my hand....grrrrr!
Besides that it's 2010. I drunk my Sparkling Welch's juice. Watched the ball drop at 11:59 into the new year. && polished my nails orange. Not much of a night but, hey I'm cool.
I really need to be sleep, if I want to catch this "Martin" marathon on Tv-One tomorrow.
I also wrote a long sappy note on facebook about my year & then went back and deleted it. It was right, I guess but, it just didn't "feel" right. I am 20 years old (that's so weird to say) and I feel like my actions have to elevate with my age. I am not a teenager anymore, and that's kind of scary.
...But, I'm gonna go and hit the sheets and try to clean this polish of my keyboard...yea, I can be a little sloppy && carefree sometimes.

Nothing Less
I'm here watching Real NBA on the tube....on New Year's Eve && I'm under the covers really snugg'd up.
I plan on celebrating the night with ESPN on TNT, a little Badu for the soul, && a glass of Sparkling grape juice....yes, I said it!
As stated on my FB, This year I don't have a resolution. It's not logical to me that one day you can be so motivated and set so many goals...it's just one day. So, I don't have one honestly. All I try to do in LIFE is just be better today than I was yesterday. Nothing less.
Anyway here are some flixs of my $23 phone case. && yes, that is Tracy Mcgrady. I stand by him no matter what! Besides the fact the phone case was more $$, the grey zebra print stripe is dope!

But I've been honestly been cheating more so with school work.
Anyways it's almost "Twenty-'10" [That's what I plan to reference it as--] & I'm up as usual at 5AM in the morning, as if there's not a care in the world. But, trust me my plate is stacked high. I'm just pushing it to the side at the moment...I'll enjoy this dessert first.
Lately: I've grown a fascination w/ the NBA & esp NBA TV. This is mostly due to the fact that I had NO clue that we had the channel. I called my mom like two months ago, and she swore up & down we didn't have it. Maybe she paid for who knows. I'm not complaining!
Truthfully...Erykah Badu has been on rotation since I heard "Otherside of the Game". I had to buy her LIVE album. I mean I HAD too. The live music with her vocals is just beautiful...

- I don't have a NEW year's resolution but, my solution is to better than I was yesterday.
- I'm grateful for all of my accomplishments up to this point. && next year is going to be a test on whether OR not I can handle them all. We shall see...
- I still have that heart dollar bill thingy (see old post). Sometimes I want to spend it when I'm broke but, It's too beautiful to tear apart.
- I marked mail from Obama (you know those generic messages) as SPAM this afternoon, just because I got tired of seeing it in my yahoo mail inbox. Don't worry, I did the same thing to Fast Web (Scholarships) as well. *I kno, I kno!
- It's 5:34AM and I'm sitting here watching NBA TV still....well listening to it really.
- I'm getting a name necklace soon. Thing is I have a problem narrowing my decisions down. I just changed this layout & took less than 30 min. to decide. FYI: It usually takes me hours! Anyways, I had to ask the lady to copy the pages in the catalog so I candrool look over the design of necklace I want...It's sad, really!
- I have an ADDICTION to black heels. I don't know what it is but, black is so classy and it really catches my eye [go figure]. I got the cutest heels for Christmas....

Butter Pecan Icecream Machine
[Excuse the title of this post. It's late & I don't really care to think of anything spectacular.]
I have been tryin' to get things together for school lately && I haven't even touched a suitcase yet. I have so many new jeans, it ridiculous!! It seems that every time I go shopping, I end up w/ lop-sided outcomes. It's either I have too many shirts, && not enough jeans OR in this case, too many jeans, && not enough shirts. So the plan is to get more shirts of course.
I got a dope pair of boots 2day from Bakers && a pair of Nine West wedges [from NC last weekend]...so a NEW "Shoe Flix" is on the way!! :)
&& I just finished a good 'ol cup of Butter Pecan ice cream [I got it && only that 4rm Publix] && it's to die 4, hence the name of this post.
Lately, I've been tryin' to get back into my old retainers && it's the worst. Imagine fitting an elephant into a dog's mold. && It hurts like crazy but, I've gotta get my teeth back to what they were. The agony & social pressure of having perfect teeth [kiddin' of course]!!
Just remembered, that I ALSO bought a 2Pac poster today. My dorm wall is goin' to be full of art this year, just like my room at home. You should've seen me at Wal-Mart when I saw the MJ Thriller poster on sale! My wall is gonna' be AMAZING! I kinda' want a Tracy Mcgrady poster as well. He is just so attractive to me. I can't wait till the NBA season begins so, I can go & watch him play. Oh, what a day that will be!
But, I gotta attempt to go to bed. Much to do in the morning. Sweet Dreams.
